Karza Technologies' is a year old fin-tech venture whose products are primarily web-based and rely deeply on web scraping, data ELT, machine learning, analysis and visual representation. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and code-chef CTO to develop and lead its technology arm. The CTO will be crucial part of overall architecture and implementation of product development strategies and planning along with operational management

Responsibilities:

- Evaluation and identification of appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering Karza Products

- Building and managing the entire technology teamalong with choosing the technology and team members

- Initiating and participating in designs, development, and implementation

- Directing development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Karza's and Clients- data and servers

- Developing and delivering quality output on-time and that meets project plans and delivery commitments to our clients

- Sharing knowledge, mentoring, and educating the Karza's investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders with regard to the company's technological vision, opportunities, and challenges

- Developing, tracking, and controlling the development and deployment annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations

Knowledge and Experience:

- 7+ years experience managing web application development, big data and machine learning technologies

- Experience with tech startup companies and knowledge of BFSI systems is a plus

- Highly skilled with J2EE, Python, R,Javascript frameworks, SQL and NoSQL databases, web services and standards, API creation and integrations, etc

- Hands-on with big-data technologies like Hadoop, Storm, Spark and machine learning algorithms

- Has worked extensively with caching frameworks, messaging frameworks, etc.

- Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management

- Has designed large and complex enterprise web application using J2EE and other latest cutting edge open source technology stack.
