Karvy - Credit Rating Analyst (3-5 yrs)
Credit Rating Analyst
Responsibilities :
- Deal Origination for debt transactions from intermediaries such as investment bankers, debt syndication firms and financial advisors across India as well as in-house divisions.
- Focus of investing in NBFCs, SMEs and Mid-corporate that require mezzanine or growth capital in the form of NCDs or preference capital.
- Initial Screening of the deal, based on In-House Credit Policy and showcasing it to the core team members for further discussion.
- Collecting further information from the company and conducting management meeting and/or plant visit.
- Credit evaluation, dedupe, Deal Structuring, Term Sheet Preparation and Negotiation.
- Convening Investment Committee meetings and proposing transactions for approval.
- Appointment of firms for Financial due diligence, legal due diligence, share valuation and trustee.
- Coordinating the process for financial Due-Diligence, share valuation, Legal Documentation and Trustees Management on the transaction.
- Managing the analyst for the desk for Research on the Opportunity, analysis of business plans and preparation of credit note.
- Monitoring of the portfolio on a continuous basis
Qualification, Experience & Desired Skills :
- Experience in ratings, credit underwriting or policy-related job role for Mid and Large Corporate segments in any Rating Agency, Bank, NBFCs, Research & brokerage houses or KPOs.
- CA, CFA or MBA
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong Interpersonal / Communication skills
- Experience in handling large volumes and good in excel skills.
- Good understanding of Banking products
