Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a high-impact role focused on scaling business and client relationships, driving strategic partnerships, and accelerating the growth of KarmaLifeAI. You will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, building strong client connections, and developing comprehensive business growth strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams both within KarmaLifeAI and at partner organizations, providing a well-rounded perspective on our innovative financial products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, potential customers, and innovative product/service offerings.
- Analyze market dynamics and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build, pitch, and close new deals, establishing strategic partnerships to support company growth and product expansion.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.
- Identify high-impact strategic opportunities for driving non-linear growth.
- Create and manage a partnership roadmap, driving execution from sourcing, legal signing, operationalization, scale-up, and expansion.
- Build and maintain strong, meaningful client connections with B2B organizations.
- Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal departments (product, technology, operations, legal) to ensure seamless rollouts and scale-up of partnerships and client implementations.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business sales and growth strategy.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess a strong desire to learn and grow, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences. -
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data management, including the use of spreadsheets and CRM systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong bias for action, with a solution-oriented approach and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Outcome-driven thinking, with strong organizational and strategic skills.
- Ability to analyze sales figures and market trends, and to prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ability to take initiative, meet targets, and be self-motivated.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience working with Fintech, or SAAS companies is a plus.
Location: Bengaluru based candidates preferred.
