Innovations and R&D Manager | Real Estate Innovation (Research & Development): - Introduce new technologies related to smart homes, IOT, Waste Management, Alternate energy and Customer experience (Such as AR & VR). - Creating a - Culture of Innovation- within the organization to ensure that every department contributes their bit towards Innovation. - Assimilating suggestions from various individuals within the organization and converting them into workable solutions which have an impact on Quality, Cost and Delivery. - To facilitate cross industry learnings and benchmarking in order to create a better customer experience. - Identify and Prototype disruptive technologies with an aim to create a better product or invent a new product. - Where ever applicable, file for patents and develop in house incubation centers which are regularly scouting the environment for newer and better ways to get things done. - Create a mechanism for data mining (obtaining user feedback) so that predictive technologies can be used to understand markets and customer behavior. New Product Development: - Conduct market survey thought web portals, visiting exhibitions, attending seminars & Technical forums in the industry and identify the alternate materials, alternate processes available in market. - Identify projects requirement for new and alternate products (Issues arising from ongoing project reports, complaint analysis and lessons learnt). - Prepare process right from identification of product to approval of product for use on site (Material submittal evaluation, manufacturing unit visit, mock ups on site, testing parameters, technical and cost comparison, tangible and intangible benefits etc.). - Post approval arrange training awareness program to all internal stake holders - Innovate processes, methods, technology etc. as and when required. - Following PDCA cycle for the effectiveness & to keep the solution sustainable & for continual improvement.
