The Orchids International, a chain of 30+ schools with over 30000 students is managed by K12 Techno Services end-to-end including a centralized Curriculum, Hiring, Teacher training, resource management, ERP, transport, finances, marketing and so on.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Stays current on best practices in social and emotional learning, learning differences, and the Standards of Excellence.

- Consults with principals and staff concerning social emotional learning needs of students.

- Provides guidance on designing social emotional learning integration into the school.

- Creates professional development to support the social emotional learning curriculum and instruction by using best practices, including research on learning theory and content standards.

- Creates and works collaboratively with other departments for the integration of district wide social and emotional learning education aligned with the district's strategic plan.

- Designs social and emotional learning education workshops for parents and community.

- Assesses and verifies short-term and long-term goals of the SEL program.

- Uses data to make decisions and adjustments to the SEL program.

- Designs and implements professional development to support the social emotional learning curriculum and instruction using best practices, including research on theory and content standards.

- Has successful experience designing and delivering professional development.

- Manage the overall implementation of the program.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

- Has knowledge and becomes an expert resource on social and emotional learning research, evaluation, strategies, theories, techniques, and methods of instruction for the district

- Has successful experience designing and delivering professional development.

- Is able to plan, organize, provide leadership, and work collaboratively with other teams.

- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create productive and healthy relationships.

- Demonstrates strong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.

- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
