Just Dial - Head - Digital Marketing - SEM/SEO (5-12 yrs)

Justdial is looking for a person to head its marketing team, based out of Mumbai. Role description is as follows:

Paid Marketing:

- Responsible for managing and growing paid user acquisition through AdWords, FB, Snapchat, Insta, YT advertising by constantly testing, measuring and iterating.

- Managing remarketing campaigns across all channels including paid Social, Search, Display and Email.

- Optimizing for return on spends i.e. Cost of incremental traffic & leads, while scaling users & leads.

- Analyze and prepare performance reports and strategy updates for internal stakeholders.

- A/B test landing pages, messaging and multiple user experiences.


- Ensure that all Justdial websites and internet properties under your control have been technically optimized to attract and engage the target audience.

- Create and/or modify the existing technical architecture to achieve desired growth rates for quality traffic. Build systems to ensure that entire content is optimized across all platforms (website and mobile) to provide the best user experience.

- Manage a team of SEO managers and specialists to deliver against the defined SEO strategy.

- Define and work towards achieving set traffic growth targets and evaluate the team against those targets.

- Promote both offsite and onsite activities and also the interactions that build ranking, profile, and traffic.

- Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and development.

- Communicate to senior management about ongoing initiatives on a regular basis.

ATL Marketing:

Negotiating with mass media channels and other advertising platforms for advertising. Monitoring channel performance and maximizing user acquisition from all channels.

What You'll Need :

- 5-7 years of work experience in performance marketing, SEO management

- Graduates / post-graduates from premier engineering / management institutes with at least 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, from top internet organisations.

- Proven- track record is a must: Should have proven track-record in driving traffic growth for one/ more of the large internet/ e-commerce companies.

- Quantitative mind, numbers-oriented: Candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, flair for numbers, and strong data crunching ability. Candidate should be able to keep the bigger picture in mind while effectively managing detail.

- Excellent negotiation, quantitative and analytical skills and deep familiarity with marketing CPA, CPC, CPM, ARPU and LTV.

- Candidate should be good at on-page optimization, off-page optimization & content building. Should be technically proficient & understand tech details right from site architecture to webmaster tools.

- Should have worked in teams in the past and be able to motivate and extract the best out of his/her team members.

- Ability to work with minimum supervision, take initiatives, adhere to tight timelines and be self-motivated.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of the digital and mobile app landscape across India

- This is a people management role, so 3+ years of active team building and people management experience would be handy.
