Junior/Senior Credit Analyst (2-10 yrs)

Mumbai Job Code: 1128928

- Analysis of financial statements, analysing the ratios, generating internal credit rating, and determining the creditworthiness of the borrower.

- Preparation of detailed CAM (Credit Appraisal Memorandum) after receipt of documents from business. Submission of the proposals to sanctioning authority and ensuring timely completion of reviews and renewals within specified TAT.

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research for corporate sector or infrastructure sector and publish reports and articles independently to contribute to thought leadership.

- Create and update Financial model of the Client.

- Review the borrower's profile including credit, income, assets, collateral, compliance, employment, and other lending risks such as interested party involvement.

- Keeping a track of allotted portfolio through quarterly results, news updates, and promoters and ensuring the health of the portfolio.

- Maintenance of various MIS / compliance-related records and providing it to the authorities from time to time.

- Sign off on conditions in a timely manner set by management. Work with staff and management to find solutions on escalated loans.

- Make recommendations for improving internal audit's policies and procedures, as requested

- Manage your individual pipeline by using all functions of Encompass.

- Effectively communicate underwriting decisions with processors, loan advisors and other members of the company.

- Collaborate with internal teams to creatively solution for challenging underwriting scenarios.

- Review escalation and exception requests

- Deliver client and investor presentations Competencies.

Key Competencies Required

- Strong analytical understanding of corporate credit.

- Good presentation and report writing skills both written.

- Very strong communication skills.

- Passion and strong aptitude for research.

- Ability to work under stretched timelines and verbal communication.

- Prior Experience in building risk models, portfolio tracking in lending industry.

- Flair for using technology and alternate concepts to underwrite.

- Being able to effectively balance business and risk objectives.

Qualifications & Experience Range

- Post-Graduation - MBA from Top-tier institutions in the country. Or CA

- Graduation B. Tech preferred

- 2-8 years of Credit experience in Fintech/Banks/NBFCs, preferably in Indian context.
