Junior Investment Analyst - Investment & Research Operations - Asset Management Firm (0-3 yrs)
We are looking for a Junior Investment Analyst with an understanding of financial markets to support the investment and research operations at a global asset management firm.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Exposure Calculations
- Extracting data of underlying Private Equity companies and providing it in a standardized format which can be used by an investment team for analysis.
Risk Analytics :
- Use the returns data maintained by the team to run regular portfolio risk calculations,
- Monitor and report portfolio factor risks to the investment team,
- Help in preparation and update of risk models, exposure models, internal sourcing databases etc.
Hedge Fund Position Tracking :
- Tracking and summarization of holdings of hedge funds
- Tracking of News alerts related that may materially impact on our portfolio
Diligence Support :
- Assist on-site team in sourcing additional information through internet searches,
- Consolidate market/macro data from industry reports leveraging third party research,
- Update research reports to keep research documentation up-to date
Supervise information support operations :
- Proof reading information analyst transcription and summarization
- Running sanity checks on deliverables of the information analysts
Financial Modelling :
- Building financial models for co-investments and direct investments
- Organizing past data, and updating the pricing models as needed
- Producing requested information on ad-hoc requests
Profile:
- 0-3 year experience in financial markets
- CA First Attempt or MBA Finance from a reputed college + CFA Charter-holder or on-going progress in the program preferred
CTC: INR 8.5 lakhs per annum + performance bonus (20-30%) + Retention Payouts of 3-6 lakhs every two years. Overall compensation around INR 13 lakhs per annum.
