Junior Category Manager - Consumer Durable

Job Description

Responsibilities :

- Build Products for the channel and find New Categories

a) Building a relationship with the channel partners

b) Working with the channel partners to understand gaps/issues in the current selection and deciding to launch new products basis the inputs from the channel

c) Launching products which solve customer pain-points

- Managing Marketing Inputs

a) Efficiently using the marketing investments (on and outside the marketplace platforms) to drive traffic

- Managing the operations team to ensure 100% in stock and help in forecasting

- Managing Channel and Category Level P&L

a) Managing the entire P&L for the channel

b) Also, manage the category level P&L to ensure desired Topline and Bottom-line

- Working with the category teams (internal) to launch new products

Required Skills :

- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles.

- An analytical mind with a thinking ability.

- Bias for Action: Problem solving attitude with strong result orientation and motivation to independently drive, own, cross-functionally partner, and execute

- Highly Analytical: Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the

- business by the numbers. Must be metrics-driven.

- Strong negotiation skills
