- Jubilant Generics Limited ('JGL') is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company through Jubilant Pharma. JGL owns two manufacturing facilities; one at Nanjangud, Karnataka and another at Roorkee, Uttarakhand which are engaged in APIs and Dosage Forms business, respectively.

- The manufacturing location at Nanjangud spread on 69 acres is engaged in manufacturing of APIs and caters to the sales worldwide. API portfolio is focused on Lifestyle driven Therapeutic Areas (CVS, CNS) and also targets complex and newly approved molecules. 

- The company is market leader in four APIs and is amongst the top 3 players for another three APIs in its portfolio helping it maintain a high contribution margin. The manufacturing location at Roorkee, Uttarakhand with 5 acres of infrastructure is USFDA, Japan PMDA, UK MHRA, TGA, WHO and Brazil ANVISA audited and approved. This business focusses on B2B model for EU, Canada and emerging markets. It has capabilities to develop multiple dosage forms including Oral solid, injectable and ophthalmic dosage forms. Revenue of the company during the Financial Year 2016-17 was 10,726.09 Million as compared to 9,197.82 Million during the Financial Year 2015-16.

Job Description :

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Job Context : To be responsible for defining the release process and coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to the market.

Challenges : To handle product portfolio planning & lifecycle management for API & custodian of the new product grid for the organization.

2. DETAILS OF THE JOB:

Level: 11 / 12 ( Manager / Sr.Manager )

Reporting Manager: Head Marketing

Manager's Manager: SBU Head - API

Direct Reportees : NIL

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1) Accountabilities :

Prepare Portfolio strategy and product identification processes and SOP- s

Scope of work :

- Generic API Product identification & recommendation with rationale for inclusion in in-house development/in-licensing grids for Global markets to strengthen the product portfolio in chosen therapies.

- Robust commercial & adequate medical evaluation based product identification.

- Constant monitoring & tracking of the Generic industry for new opportunities.

- Facilitating Business forecasts from DF & API Business heads and validating the same.

2) Periodic review of forecasts :

- For high value products, periodic review of forecasts basis development progress to arrive at continue/drop decision.

- Co-ordination with Regional Managers to capture and analyze various opportunities on a Regional/Global scale.

- Serve as custodians of Product grid - Interface between Business & Regulatory to prepare US & RoW filing grids.

- Portfolio analysis to create a wish list in new identified areas.

- To keep track of New Product Approvals world-wide.

- Provide development benchmarking data and analysis to senior management

3) Database management :

Formal communication of portfolio for development to R&D & liasoning with Program management to track development

Internal Interfaces : R & D/ IP/ Regulatory/ Finance/ Regional Teams/ Senior Management/ Program Management

Qualification ; Post Graduate / Graduate in Pharma or MBA in Marketing

Experience Range: 8- 10 years

Desirable experience: 8 - 10 years of experience in Pharma industry with 3-5 years in relevant portfolio planning.
