In Licensing Manager ( Pharma Generics ) - Jubilant Generics Ltd

Job Description :

Job Context :

- In-licensing of new products for Jubilant US market by collaborating with potential partners

Challenges :

- Resolving negotiation with external stakeholders and come out with a win-win solution for both parties

- Getting approval from all internal stakeholders and satisfying their queries

- Contract closure which satisfies the legal requirements of organisation and of the partner

- On-boarding of project, to ensure successful commercialization of the product in respective market

Accountabilities :

1) Execution of Licensing deals for US market :

- To in license new products for US and Non-US market which are aligned to our strategic objective

2) Creating Pipeline of In Licensing products for US market :

- To identify active projects which would be defined as projects where Business Interest confirmation has been received from the respective markets and post that CDA has been executed

3) Identification of Active Projects which would be taken up for execution :

- To take products to advanced stages of discussion (NBTS/ MoU/ Commercial Finalization Stage)

4) Enabling consolidation of BD Status :

- To prepare Departmental Budget, Functional Review meetings, Monthly Reports for respective markets

5) Execution of ongoing Active In-licensing Projects :

- Revised NPVs & BCs for go / no at each critical stage along with PMO

- Managing Alliance issues and interventions

- Amendment creation and Execution

External Interfaces :

- Partners (BD team of Pharma companies)

Internal Interfaces :

- Finance, Legal, R&D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Commercial and portfolio strategy team of US

Education Qualification(Highest ) :

- MBA ( Marketing / Finance ), preferably with B Pharma

Experience Range : 5-10 years

Desirable experience :

- Relevant experience of in-licensing products for US market for large/mid sized pharma companies

Skills Required :

Functional Skill : Proficiency Level : Mastery

- Business case preparation (Excel etc.)

- Legal agreement preparation ( Working Knowledge )

- Presentation skill (competence in preparing presentation, report, Project Approval Sheet, Contract Approval Sheet for senior management ( Mastery )

- Awareness about US pharma market operations and need ( Working Knowledge)

Behavioral Skills :

- Interpersonal skills ( Working knowledge )
