Define procurement strategies for key categories and execute
- Cost Model & TCO
- Industry Analysis
- Understanding of buying Cycles & correlation with other services
- Capacity Building - Supplier Base Expansion
- Commercial Negotiations and Sourcing Tools (RFI, RFP/RFQ, Reverse Auction using SAP Ariba)
Contract Management
- Capability Building - Lead and develop the team
- Ensuring right governance and controls in line with organizational policies and SOPs
- Researches and analyses market intelligence data for trends in services' prices which could directly impact category spend
- Understand business, demand and requirements and its implications on sourcing and supplier base
- Annual Budgeting and Planning - Ensuring costs delivered as per budget
- Identify & implement value engineering initiatives for cost optimization
- Closely work with user and related cross functional teams to ensure on time in full availability of services or material.
- Build strong relationship with suppliers for long term competitive advantage
- Build robust mechanisms for tracking market prices and benchmarking with competition
- Stakeholder management:
Internal - Various functions - Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain Centres, Quality & Regulatory, Product Development, Marketing, Finance & Legal
External - Business Partners, Industry Bodies, Research Organizations etc.
