JTC - Business Analyst - FP&A (1-3 yrs)

Business Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to :

Operational reporting :

- Overall ownership of operational reports such as asset utilization reports and revenue tracking reports.

- Ensure accuracy of all reports and timeliness in reporting.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of operational databases for manpower, assets, and other resources in the system.

- Update existing reports and develop new reports in response to business requirements.

FP&A / Strategy :

- Provide support in annual planning & budgeting process by gathering and analyzing operational and financial information, market intelligence and forecasts, and facilitating discussions with stakeholders.

- Assist in developing the annual business plan for business divisions.

- Provide operational analysis and necessary guidance in making investment decisions.

- Provide support in pricing of new tenders/projects.

- Support Financial Reporting team by providing necessary operational data for monthly financial reports and management reports.

- Track and monitor market developments and maintain updated information on competitive landscape, ongoing and upcoming projects, etc.

- Analysis of costs and formulate recommendations to improve profitability.

- Assist in data collection, analysis and structuring of investment feasibility studies.

- Provide support in key strategic organizational / divisional initiatives.

Management Support :

- Provide overall support to Divisional Head/Manager in achievement of the division's objectives.

- Provide support in preparation for board meetings and internal business review meetings.

- Conceptualize, develop and refine requirements for capital investments and non-routine operating expenditures; and oversee preparation of proposals to seek necessary approvals.

- Prepare reports and presentations to support management.

- Analyze operational and financial performance of the division and identify potential areas for improvement.

- Assist Divisional Head/Manager in ensuring smooth operations in the division by timely reporting of any issues, concerns or suggestions regarding operations, resource availability and utilization.

- Carry out root cause analysis of pain areas, suggest corrective actions and help in implementation.

- Track and monitor the capabilities of assets, manpower and other resources in order to match it with the project specific requirements and ensure that the requirements are met.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and intelligent reports that help management in decision making and devising action plans.

- Assist in planning and execution of large projects.

Other :

- Coordinate with all departments/teams within the division and the company to ensure maximum utilization of resources in order to achieve JTC's and the division's objectives.

- Liaise with support functions for major operational requirements to ensure effective functioning of the division.

- Ensure effective information sharing with Finance and other divisions/functions.

- Support Accounts team in enforcing accounting procedures, invoicing process, collections, and resolving disputes with clients.

- Ensure accuracy and usefulness of IT reports, highlight any opportunities for improvement.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with JTC's policies & procedures in matters such as sales cycle, accounting & invoicing, procurement, QHSE, legal processes and IT.

- Highlight any non-compliance with JTC's policies & procedures to senior management.

- Any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.
