Chase Consumer &amp; Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer &amp; Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others. The role of the Analytical Data Lead is to manage a small team to coordinate data onboarding and provisioning with proper metadata, controls and data quality oversight. This individual will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders such as strategy, data consumers, reporting, modeling, architecture, technology, governance and audit teams to plan and implement a comprehensive framework supporting Risk analytical data. This includes investigating new sources of data, driving subject matter expertise, and guiding how to most effectively integrate the data to the overall analytical framework. This individual will also set acceptance criteria regarding data access controls, data quality frameworks and levels of documentation and metadata management, including data dictionaries and lineage information. Responsibilities: - Seasoned Risk professional with sound data management expertise able to guide a vision and acceptance criteria for establishing Risk analytically ready data - Comfortable managing a team of 3-4, providing overall direction, guidance and oversight - Coordinate with various stakeholders including the Risk team, technology, controls, compliance, and senior management. - Capture data requirements for analytic purposes such as modeling, forecasting, reporting &amp; strategy analysis - Work closely with the data architect to translate business requirements into technical requirements and facilitate design and development of strategic data assets - Ensure implementation of appropriate data governance practices in line with firm guidelines - Develop subject matter expertise within the team around various data sources with a knowledge of how to extract useful information from the data - Oversee and execute UAT testing of derived analytical attributes - Create and refine data quality framework expectations, as well as refined data quality rules to ensure the integrity and consistency in the analytically ready data. - Set acceptance criteria defining required metadata including data dictionaries, lineage and user guides - Oversee data access controls and maintain oversight and recertification processes to manage access to data Skills &amp; Competencies required: - Experience in Risk analytics, data management, data quality, data governance, BCBS239 guidelines, data profiling, data analytics - Highly capable with SQL and proven capability to query large and complex datasets - Experience in managing data/analytics deliverables and teams or a Consulting experience in the data/analytics space - Experience as a people manager - Overall experience of 8+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services.&nbsp; - Strong Drive &amp; Navigational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proven track record of mobilizing the right resources and delivering the outcomes in a matrix structure/ organization - A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role - Highly effective in narrating project status and direction to senior management - Experience working in an Agile framework a plus
