JPMorgan Chase - Product Management Role - OTC Derivative/Securities Services (6-13 yrs)
This is a Project Management role within the - Securities Services - Complex Assets Product Development Client Onboarding Team- . The successful candidate will be based in the Mumbai offices. The candidate will be responsible for working with Clients, Product/Product Development lines cross LOBs, global operations, technology and various other stakeholders, providing full management on projects that will focus on onboarding new clients into the Operations infrastructure for OTCs/CFDs and migrating clients from legacy to new Fund Accounting platforms.
Department and Team Description: The Complex Assets Client Onboarding team is a dedicated global team of project and client facing resources focused on onboarding new clients into the Operations infrastructure for OTCs/CFDs and migrating clients from legacy to new Fund Accounting platforms within Security Services. The group provides a unique mix of project skills and product development experience enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we manage and execute onboarding across the firm. The team is responsible for delivering all aspect of onboarding driven by both internal/external stakeholders; and it includes both strategic and tactical investments to meet essential client and business needs.
The key objectives:
- Work closely with Clients, Complex Assets onboarding, Operations and Fund Accounting Operations to Onboard & migrate clients efficiently and accurately across platforms
- Help design and implement Complex Assets Product Development strategies
- Work closely with colleagues in Product Development to implement strategic changes
- Provide Project management of various new and ongoing Client Onboarding Projects in the OTC/CFD space-
- Provide regular reporting and status updates on all migrations/on-boardings to senior stakeholders
- Identify, analyse, solution and effectively escalate key risks / issues as necessary
- Be a key partner to Operations globally, work on issues raised by them and provide Production support as needed in terms of Onboarding readiness of systems required
- Provide input and review Operational readiness
- Facilitate the delivery of any strategic, robust, scalable technology change meeting the needs of clients
Responsibilities :
- Plan/run/own multiple OTC Client Onboarding and fund migration projects concurrently
Client/stakeholder management :
- Strong understanding of current Operational models and associated priorities for change and strategic planning
- Build a strong working relationship with the business and other stakeholders across multiple lines of business
- Provide thought leadership developing options and recommendations
- Participate in the high level design of solutions with stakeholders then manage them to completion
- Build an understanding of future business direction and priorities
Qualifications :
- Prior experience of project delivery/management & business analysis is a key requirement
- An understanding of Fund Accounting & OTC derivatives
- Previous Client communications experience
- Experience working on Middle / Back Office projects
