The Wholesale Credit Transformation team is a division of Corporate Risk, responsible for reshaping the end-to-end Credit experience across the firm's Wholesale business units (Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Asset Wealth Management and Business Banking). The team drives transformation initiatives to deliver improved Client experiences, operating efficiencies and maintain JPMC status as an industry leader. Priorities are driven by the Risk Operating Committee and Chief Risk Officers, providing the organization with a high level of visibility. The team focuses primarily on two key objectives, (1) driving foundational changes that provide immediate benefits to the credit organization, and (2) designing strategic solutions to drive the future of wholesale credit.

ROLE SUMMARY

Core responsibilities include:

- Senior lead across wholesale credit transformation for collecting, spreading and analyzing financial data

- Manage and maintain production spreading templates and oversee the development of new spreading templates and guidelines for high-priority LOBs and portfolios in the iSPRESO roadmap

- Oversee a team of 3-4 business analysts, each with responsibility for governance of a portfolio of industry spreading templates

- Chair the financial data governance forums for Mid/Large Corporates, Real Estate, General Industries - Middle Market and Business Banking, Public Finance and Banks

- Manage the financial spreading procedures adhered to by the global spreading centers-of-excellence

- Partner with transformation leads to provide strategic guidance on using financial data in strategic initiatives, including streamlining many core credit risk processes

General responsibilities include:

- Provide leadership across the Product Strategy team and partner closely with other Wholesale Credit Transformation teams to support needs of the broader organization

- Facilitate strong relationships with Credit organizations and leadership teams, and develop partnerships with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver on digital transformation initiatives requiring financial data

- Influence internal stakeholders on key business decisions and change efforts- developing strong, trusted advisor relationships with key partners to drive consensus on business requirements

- Create and execute the strategic vision for the financial data strategy team, taking high-level initiatives and structuring projects into key work streams and managing resources across each work stream

- Manage initiatives from ideation to implementation by partnering with a variety of technology, analytics, and data strategy teams to turn business requirements into innovative solutions

- Synthesize key insights, complex analyses, and overall strategy into clear and precise presentations and communicate the goals and objectives to an executive level audience, including the firmwide CROs

- Work closely with the organization's senior management to both make decisions about individual initiatives and determine overall team strategy

- Develop and maintain junior team members

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in credit

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate business and technical concepts to both expert and novice audiences. Candidates are expected to demonstrate these skills through the recruiting process.

- Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment

Experience managing and delivering complex projects in large organizations with dedicated project management experience a plus

- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask to meet deadlines under pressure

- Outstanding interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment and with cross-functional teams in multiple global locations

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel

- Experience in management consulting or business process improvement is preferred

- Experience in the Banking industry, Financial Services or FinTech is preferred

- Experience leading small teams preferred

- Experience in product management, including the coordination of all activities required to bring a product to market, and working knowledge of software development process and Agile process preferred
