CIB_Legal Entity Controller_VP
This role is to support LEC, specifically providing coverage to JP Morgan Chase Bank India branches. The role covers Local Gaap Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Automation of regulatory reporting, Preparation of Audit, coordination for Statutory Audit , Long Form Audit Report and engagement with Senior stakeholders within Business and Support Groups. The Role is in Mumbai.
About the Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day finance operations and execute month end closing processes
- Legal entity reporting and Maintenance of books under Local Gaap
- Regulatory reporting to Reserve Bank of India on periodic basis
- Preparation of financial packs, metrics and MIS for local governance framework
- Financial Statements under Ind AS conversion periodically
- Understand Regulatory Framework and changes thereupon including Large Exposure Framework
- Liaise with Senior stakeholders in the banking entity across Business and Support functions
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and coordinate the annual audit process, including the finalization of audited financial statements
Desired Candidate Profile:
- A recognized professional accounting qualification
- Around 10-12 years of working experience; Experience in Banking organizations preferred
- Experience in Regulatory Reporting for RBI, coordination of Statutory Audit and engagement with Auditors
- Well versed with Automation projects and new age Tech tools , handled
- Ability to lead teams in Matrix organizations and Stakeholder management skills
- Possess strong process and control mindset and keen attention to detail
- Mature, independent, self-motivated, conscientious, able to work under pressure and drive changes
- Positive attitude and a good team player
