CIB R&amp;A is a microcosm of our global Corporate &amp; Investment Bank vertical and includes the following LOBs to name a few: - Banking - Investment Banking, Commercial Banking - Markets - Sales, Trading and Research - Security Services - Wholesale Payments - Strategy - Data Science and Analytics - Sales Enablement &amp; Creative Services - Banking Support (Presentation and Research services) Asia Illiquids and Loan Trading desk is part of part of Asia Credit Trading and is responsible for two activities: a) trading of all loans and illiquid bonds including par, stressed and distressed paper; b) provide structured special sits financing to portfolios and single names situations Responsibilities: - Work closely with Asia Loan Trading team to analyze a wide variety of distressed and special situations credit trading and investment opportunities - Perform credit analysis for financing trades (portfolios and single names) and identify business risks, which includes financial modeling, investment memos and cooperation with various internal groups - Work with the team to monitor portfolio by an ongoing review of sector trends and regular updates of specific loan assets based on news flow and regular financials - Preparation of other ad hoc support materials/presentations to group and clients Qualifications: - MBA from a Tier-1 institute or Chartered Accountant preferred - Ideally 2 years of experience in a credit role (Credit Risk, Structured Finance, Leverage Finance etc.) - Expert Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office skills - Exceptional analytical skills and a natural analytical curiosity - Someone who is eager to learn, and has great self-motivation to work and thrive on the challenge of competitive pressure - Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions, daily tasks - Works well in a fast-paced team dynamic with personal efficiency
