Morgan Wholesale Payments Liquidity &amp; Escrow Services provides advanced solutions for clients to manage their global operating liquidity. Large corporations, non-bank financial institutions, governments, and bank clients are all evolving their own client relationships with increased direct selling, alternative payment channels, broader currency reach, tokenized cash, wallets etc. These changes must be aligned in context with a highly complex legal, regulatory, technological, market, and tax environments governing J.P. Morgan. Integrating these new disruptive technologies into our environment successfully will be key to our continued growth and increased relevance in the markets we serve. Background: - This role is in the Digital and Platform Services (DPS) organization in Mumbai- India &amp; part of Wholesale Payments Operations. - The primary responsibility of this position is to lead a strategic program. The candidate will be responsible for defining a future state vision for the functional area in conjunction with the BAU Operations team, articulate benefits and objectives, define business requirements for technology deliverables, and lead the execution of the program/projects from an Operations perspective via build out of strategic platforms and decommissioning of legacy systems. - The role will work closely with multiple stakeholders including Product Management, Operations, Technology, Risk &amp; Control, and Finance and leverage industry best practice on change and transformation. Key Responsibilities would include: - Understand current processes and challenges and define future state process and benefits with the goal of enhancing client experience, increasing automation/efficiency, and reducing risk - Full program lifecycle management including : Defining program/project objectives and benefits, functional domains and architecture, business requirements, delivery roadmaps, migration of processing from current state/platforms to target state processes and platforms, Operational readiness - Partner with business and technology teams to execute and achieve program objectives - Governance - Regular, formal updates to senior stakeholders - Lead a team and build/develop the right skills, experience, knowledge and capacity in support of the above - Leadership - Assume a key leadership role within the Strategic Execution team. Build &amp; develop relationships, within and across the organization, and drive change. 7. Providing sign off on the functional requirements and system design 8. Monitoring the user acceptance testing and reviewing defects raised with a view to ascertain the impact to Operations 9. Ensuring operations performs prerelease and post release validations for the platform releases 10. Assisting in documenting the operations procedure and providing training to the operations teams on the new functionalities 11. Be involved in each stage of the Project Delivery Framework (PDF) from requirements to deployment and implementation. Skills: 1 Overall 15 - 18 years of experience in similar environment and strong team management experience 2 Strong working knowledge of of Liquidity Solutions products (Sweeps, Notional Pooling, deposit, interest optimization products.) 3 Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFT &amp; international payment conventions &amp; practices is an added benefit. 4 Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally &amp; externally and at all levels. 5 Program Management - Prior experience of managing large scale, complex, multi-year programs, with multiple sub-projects/phases. Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple streams of work in parallel. Strong attention to detail and must be able to demonstrate outstanding delivery track record 6 Experience with Agile delivery methods 7 Effective change management and transformation experience.
