- This position is primarily responsible for month end close activities, regulatory reporting related to Home Lending business (Production/ Portfolio/ Servicing), Product Control (Secondary Market) activities and Real Estate Portfolio reporting. The position is a team lead role and will be responsible for the relationship with line of business partners along with delivery and talent development/ retention.


- You will interact with the line of business partners responsible for various aspects of ME accounting, product control and reporting. Additionally, the individual will be required to understand the Mortgage Banking business in order to effectively manage delivery, understand the accounting impacts of the change events and guide the team accordingly.

Role and Responsibilities :

- The candidate's responsibilities will include Controllers (month end activities & reporting), Secondary market (daily sub-ledger recons, daily PnL reporting & analysis, PnL metrics) and Real Estate Portfolio (PnL close, TDR analysis, Forecasting - Budget, Weekly Tracker & Stress Testing). Will also include variance and trend analysis, review of data accuracy through validation of source level information, and conformity with regulator instructions.

- Additionally candidate will participate in strategic initiatives like Controllers Dashboard around new systems being introduced upstream including testing and implementation, documentation of risks and controls and general improvements.

- The role will require regular interactions with line of business Accounting and Finance teams related to manual submissions and analytics and Corporate Financial Reporting.

- Individual may also assist with provide supporting information as required by external auditors or regulatory authorities

- As a leader, the incumbent will be responsible for the talent growth, development and retention within team. Should also establish connectivity with onshore partners for business understanding and implications thereof on controller activities.

Skills / Competencies Needed/Education Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills across all levels of management, with ability to establish strong connects.

- Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Result-orientation and a track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals

- Chartered Account/ CFA with 11-14 years of relevant work experience in Product Control & Controllers.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point (required),

- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/Visio/VBA

- Mortgage Banking / Regulatory experience preferred

- Shift: 2PM to 11PM IST
