Wholesale Credit Transformation (WCT) is a newly created organization. The transformation team is focused on shaping a client centric, end-to-end Wholesale Credit experience, while driving consistency, speed, efficiency across risk management processes. The Wholesale Credit Transformation organization is a motivated, forward thinking team comprised of high-talent individuals with a singular focus of delivering innovative solutions. The position will work extensively with business, risk, and technology teams across all Lines of Business to ensure the implementation of the enhancements fulfill the firm-wide vision. Position This role serves as one of the senior leaders in the Tech Strategy team under Wholesale Credit Transformation (WCT). Working closely with Business, Risk, and Technology partners, this role will ensure the successful execution of various transformational initiatives in various phases including defining detailed business and system requirements, UAT testing, and post production data analytical support. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Lead a team of associates/analysts to deliver detailed, high-quality, functional requirements and specifications for complex transformational initiatives across Wholesale Credit - Quantify the impact of transformational initiatives and strategies to various system processes as well as Wholesale credit portfolio - Provide data analytical support to help define and enhance strategies and business requirements for WCT initiatives - Define and lead the execution of UAT strategy for all WCT initiatives, ensuring technology implementation are delivered on time and meet appropriate business objectives - Partner across risk and middle office operation teams to help drive successful execution of all WCT initiatives - Work in a cross-functional, global team, effectively sharing knowledge and ideas; work with different business partners to create a collaborative work environment of learning as well as efficient execution - Create effective PowerPoint presentations that will communicate analytical findings and drive business initiatives - Provide coaching and mentoring to other associates and analysts Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Operations Research) is required; advanced degree is preferred - 8+ years of Credit Risk Management and/or Analytics in financial industry, preferably credit. - Extensive hands-on knowledge in SQL and procedures/functions in working with the following: Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL, Hive - Extensive hands-on knowledge of a common data analytical programming languages such as Python. - Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to develop common sense solutions to complex business challenges - Proven track record in executing large scale system migration/conversion projects at large institutions across multiple functional teams - Strong communication skills, strong stakeholder management, coupled with the ability to be an effective team player, would be critical to this role - Strong project management skills and proven ability to influence and drive results thorough effective thought leadership and teamwork - Ability to coach, develop and motivate peers and partners to deliver results - Knowledge of traditional wholesale credit products will be advantageous.
