CIB Automation Transformation Manager - Merchant Services - Vice President Description: Who we are? The Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) is transformation team within Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), Digital Platform Services enabling transformation across CIB businesses i.e., JP Morgan Payments, Global Trade Finance, Merchant Services, Markets (Equity & Fixed Income), Securities Services businesses and cross business functions like Network Management, Client Tax and KYC. You will: - Work on complex problems that transform our business designs and end-to-end delivery models - Delivery large and complex capabilities to our clients through platform and operating model changes - Develop service models that can change the way transformation is done today - Lead a team of specialist with diverse skills sets - Influence decisions on Platform Strategy, Client Engagement and implementing innovative technology-based solutions Responsibilities: - We are looking for an outstanding Vice President to lead our Merchant Services transformation team located in Mumbai. Team members includes business SMEs, testers and automation engineers. - Provide technical leadership and direction to team members - Oversees all technology components of enterprise-level automation projects, including backlog governance, prioritization, and selecting automation framework - Owning automation roadmap, managing the scope and timelines, developing business and project plans, tracking to required due dates - Collaborate with tech partners to further integrate test automation in early development lifecycle - Review existing sprint velocity for automation engineers, overall quality, and cost to ensure it aligns and keeps current with industry standards - Keep abreast of market developments, trends, competitive landscape, Industry standards and appropriately evaluate and introduce new tools & strategy to meet transformation agenda - Communicates with senior stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information, status updates and escalations - Evaluates team performance, makes decisions on pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions - Influence program leadership through responsibility for delivery of end results and accountable for resource planning. - Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties Technical Skills Required: - 10 years of experience in building high-quality, enterprise-level advanced technology applications or automation solutions, understanding the technical and business design elements of configurable and modular components - 5 years of experience with agile development (preferably SAFe), test driven development advanced concepts of scrum and POD model - Strong technical expertise in CSS Selectors and Xpath - Experience in developing UI using AngularJS , ReactJS - Expert in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins - Experience in integrating with applications deployed to AWS Cloud - Experience in Robotics Process Automation and Low Code tools like Win Automation, UI Path ; Nice to have Communication: - Strong communication skills with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal updates on their work to colleagues, senior executives, and clients - Actively contributes to team meetings / conference calls with colleagues, stakeholders from other functions and clients / 3rd parties - PowerPoint skills; able to create individual slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review Working Style & Influence: - Ability to work on hands-on basis and not limit oneself to only tracking and reporting milestones - Ability to handle multiple work streams and manage personal time & stakeholder expectations to deliver against each - Safe pair of hands ; keeps track of deliverables and proactively follow-ups and provides updates. Does not need to be reminded or chased - Is able to build relationships with and influence colleagues and LOB functions to meet deadlines - Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders. Not possessive about roles and responsibilities ; flexible to sharing or merging roles/responsibilities with others to meet overall project or Firm objectives Qualifications: - 10 years direct experience in a related technology role with commensurate people management experience - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree Location/Travel: The role based out of Mumbai and requires working from office for at least 3 days in a week. Occasional domestic and international travel to meet with teams and stakeholders will be required.
