description:JPMorgan Equity Derivatives Group Middle Office is seeking a motivated, resourceful and diligent individual with good attention to detail. The successful candidate will perform work at various levels associated with the lifecycle of the Equity Derivative transactions. Daily responsibilities will include the processing of global stock and index dividends including all controls and reconciliations, maintenance and reconciliation of the underlying instrument samples used in the pricing of structured derivatives, business critical market data controls and reporting and issue resolution following queries from global Front and Middle Offices. This candidate will work closely with traders, trade support teams as well as external vendors to ensure that prices and dividends are accurately captured and flowing smoothly through our front-end and downstream systems. In addition to the daily responsibilities the role will require a collaborative and strong partnership with the business, operations and technology team members to manage the process improvement and change agenda. The candidate must be able to confidently deal with front office, middle office and technology. Project management work will be necessary for delivery of new initiatives and the candidate must be adaptable to change. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, a logical approach to problem solving and good time-management and prioritization skills. Products covered : - Underlying instruments - stocks, bonds, indices, commodities, FX rates, interest rates, yield curves - Derivatives - certificates, notes, warrants, convertible bonds, interest rate futures, index futures, exchange traded funds, exchange traded options Key Responsibilities : - Timely and accurate processing of single stock and index dividends for all global markets - Daily maintenance and reconciliation of the asset histories for all underlying instruments used for the pricing of structured derivatives - Market data controls including the monitoring, verification and reporting of stale pricing instruments and impacted derivative positions - Control and regulatory reporting - Strong partnerships with the Business, Middle Office, Operations, and Technology teams - Establish a thorough understanding of the transaction life cycle and the link between the various downstream systems Required skills : - 8+ years of experience in an investment banking environment, preferably in Middle Office or Reference data operations - Strong and Effective communication with good influence skills. - Must be analytical, with a logical approach to problem solving and good attention to detail - Self-motivated, diligent and resourceful - Able to adapt, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, time-critical environment - PC proficiency is mandatory with strong Excel skills - Good understanding of equities markets and relevant process flows - Creates and/or contributes to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility - Change management &amp; lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual processing - Candidate should possess People management and Leadership skills and be a role model for the Team JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
