Key Skills Required:

- Technical and analytical skills - Able to provide data using various reporting tools and drive requirements to enable seamless and controlled reporting. This includes understanding data structures and driving the build of appropriate data models to enable accurate reporting. Solid understanding of SQL and rational databases. Analyze existing SQL Queries for Performance improvements, suggest new queries based on reporting requirements. Provide timely scheduled management reporting.

- Execution and project management skills - Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Able to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and ad-hoc requests. Scope projects and deliver on project plans. Must be self-directed with the ability to explore innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Must be proactive, detail and results-oriented, and willing to drive change.

- Strong MIS skills - Proficient in MS Word, Excel (Competency in Macros, pivot tables,etc) Access with good logical reasoning abilities. Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems.

- Reporting skills: Developing, maintaining and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI Solutions. Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation and data mapping/ design. Working knowledge of Tableau administration/ architecture, Splunk and Python. Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.

- Machine Learning: Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning. Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets. Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency. Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability.

- Communications skills - Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to synthesize "the story" for executive-level audiences as well as translate requirements to developers

Responsibilities:

- Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems.

- Generate deep insights through the analysis of data and understanding of business processes and turn them into actionable recommendations.

- Perform advanced quantitative and statistical analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve business performance.

- Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools.

- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.

- Build and deploy prototype solutions to demonstrate ideas and prove concepts.

- Develop presentations to summarize and communicate key messages to senior management stakeholders.

- Become a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in the analytics discipline.

- Actively contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new ideas and brainstorm potential solutions. Effectively prioritize and drive enhancements that are meaningful to users

- Ability to interpret system / business requirements and prepare specification and design document
