JP Morgan Chase - Team Leader - Client Tax Analyst - AWM - Wealth Management (3-8 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Performing reconciliation between the banking system & tax system for Preparation and review of tax returns/accounting with limited supervision.

- Liaising with OPS teams like Pricing & Coding team, Corporate Action team etc.

- Interpretation and applying of Corporate Events and fund related movements.

- Ensure global conformity with the IRS Regulations as it relates to client tax information reporting and withholding

- Assist the team with year-end tax withholding and reporting processes, understand controls, and participate in reviews to provide consistent and accurate tax reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements

- Meet service level standards for timeliness and accuracy.

- Analysis of transactional activity from tax implication perspective.

- Ability to learn new types of tax laws.

- Clear understanding of changes in tax laws and its implication to the return.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

- Advanced degree or certification in tax or related discipline preferred

- Knowledge of IRS requirements preferred

- Interest in the nuances of tax regulations and their impact on internal processes and client interactions

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with and influence people at various levels

- Detail oriented and committed to consistent work quality

- Proactive and inquisitive

- Strong analytical and problem solving ability

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
