CIB - Custody Middle Office - Authentication - Team Leader - Individual will be responsible for managing Custody Middle Office - Authentication function for flawless delivery, accountable for proper change management &amp; process improvement. - Payment instructions received via FAX / SWIFT are authenticated by the team - Continuously develop industry /product knowledge and utilize the same optimally for process improvement at all times. Ability to understand customer segments and apply different servicing approaches based on customer knowledge level. - The Custody Middle Office Department is responsible for ensuring all aspects of operations for Global Custody clients are completed on time, exceptions are resolved, client inquiries are resolved and provide subject matter expertise to the clients. - Execution of daily (BAU) tasks and exhibit strong knowledge on Signature Validation for Trade/ Payment instructions received from Clients - Managing cost investing in technology,m understanding the changing demands for operational efficiency, data governance, risk control, cost management and business growth. - To reduce overhead by identifying and making better use of data, resources and technology. - Comply with JPMC procedures and QA best practices to ensure the best of quality of data, models and outputs - Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data evaluation strategies - Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to integrate results with existing systems and processes - Ensure follow up and escalate for all ageing items. - Ensure timely review and certification of Authentication function Procedures, Operating Service Agreements and Business Resiliency plans - Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on an ongoing basis - Active participation in multiple forums such as Product, Client Service, Strategy to analyse the impact basis market changes and to drive Tech Initiatives to meet client expectation and internal functional goals - Create strong resiliency &amp; backups within the team by active involvement in day to day activities and training initiatives - Work in partnership with Operations Control Management / Risk teams for performing QA testing's, MIS and Internal and External Audits. - Play a key role in Audit reviews and checks and attend various internal calls with Product, Network, Client Facing team, etc. and represent Authentication, add value in ensuring end goal to enhance customer satisfaction at all times - of course ensuring right controls and checks in place to avoid Audit &amp; Compliance issues. - Complete performance appraisal for direct reports and team along with the VP and also assist in setting Goals / Objectives for Operations Analyst and Team leader population - To continually reassess the operational risks inherent to Authentication taking account of changing business key deliverables, product implementations, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, staff management restructurings, and the impact of new technology - Leverage your unique background, experiences and skills to help innovate and add value. - Diversity and Inclusion are the cornerstones of JPMorgan Chase's corporate culture.
