Overview : A critical priority for Asset Management is to ensure that a comprehensive set of high-quality data is available to run our business and meet client needs. The team within Asset Management (AM) was established in 2014 to address AM's reference data and account set up strategy. This includes data for clients and accounts, products, securities prices, transactions and holdings, indexes, benchmarks, performance and analytics. We work with the AM business to analyze data, establish data quality standards and ensure data governance. We partner with the business and technology to implement data systems and process solutions. The AM Fixed Income Data team is primarily responsible for supporting GFICC business for Instrument reference data, party and accounts data. The team is responsible for daily oversight and control of Fixed Income instrument reference data (sector classification, ratings, trade critical data attributes), Manage credit mapping process by requesting new legal entity creation and exception mapping and support our investment desk by setup and maintenance of Fixed Income Accounts. We also assist in daily enquiries from trading desk, various AM-ops team and provide them tactical/strategic solutions. Roles and Responsibilities : - Daily oversight and control of fixed income instruments - Setup legal entity and credit mapping for all instrument types - Setup, maintain fixed income accounts for FI Columbus Desk and Guidelines - Attention to details - Resolution of exceptions & queries Key Relationships : - Fixed income trading desks - Investment analysts - Risk management team and technology support for critical applications - Asset management operations and firm wide teams Qualifications : Industry Knowledge : - 4-5 years of experience in financial market - Prior industry experience preferred (18-24 months in current role) Functional Skills : - Decent understanding of financial markets and products - Good knowledge on the Fixed Income instruments - Knowledge on the Fixed Income corporate action (ISO standards) - Knowledge of Bloomberg, DTC, industry tools - Good working knowledge of utilizing MS suite of products Delivery Skills : - Attention to details - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple work streams concurrently - Client focused - Flexibility to work in night shifts - Excellent judgment skills - knows when and how to escalate - Adaptable to working in an evolving and changeable environment Interpersonal Skills : - Builds strong relationships across globally distributed teams - Ability to work effectively within team environment. - Committed team member JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
