CIB_Program/Project Manager_Vice president Description : Key Responsibilities would include : - Responsible for meeting ONYX project deliverables with a high level of timeliness and accuracy - Ensure transparency across stakeholders for overall project status & reasons lapse or delay if any - Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality. - Constant and regular review of processes and performance with focus on improving departmental competency / performance rating. - Regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented. - Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables. - Interact with global location managers in an effective and professional manner. - Foster and champion High Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment. - Monitors all relevant Management Information System data ensuring all issues have been resolved expediently. - Responsible for leading and managing multiple projects - Identifies department strategy and goals related to broader organizational goals and direction. - Works directly with senior managers to identify technology, resource and/or process needs. Identifies opportunities for improvements in the process and recommends solutions. - Constant and regular review for direct reports. Set expectations with direct reports, regarding positive motivation and leading through accountability. - Develop and lead a team that is responsive to dynamic organizational and operational changes. - Accountability for overall Performance Management and Talent Review process. - From a training perspective, responsible for ensuring training is taking place and that it is within budget. - Responsible for risk management to the business. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES OF THE ROLE : - Have a strong knowledge and hands on experience in international payments for core Cash domain - Have an understanding of the testing principles and techniques in accordance with various technological deliveries - Be able to apply a risk-based approach to testing when determining the criticality of completing test scenarios and the severity of errors raised. - Be able to define the boundaries for testing all system's enhancement and projects. - Have an understanding of the V model and Project Lifecycle standards. - Have a good understanding of the risk and compliance policies followed by international banks. Qualifications : - Preferred Master's Degree (e.g. CA, ICWA, and MBA) with 15+ years of related experience - Any certification in project management or testing is desirable - Project Management/ Implementation experience - Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels. - Excellent written & oral communication skills - Proven leadership and people management skills. - Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business. - A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate. - Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues. - An acute client focus. - Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills. - Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
