The Operations and Client Services technology platforms in JPMorgan Private Bank are undergoing a major program of transformation. A cornerstone of the transformation strategy is the build out of AI and Machine Learning solutions to improve efficiencies and elevate client experience. We are looking to combine cutting edge machine learning techniques with the company's unique data assets to create transformational solutions in areas such as workflow analysis and real-time volume prediction, task complexity modeling, client email classification and data extraction, outlier detection, data quality prediction, fraud detection, chat-bots, voice analytics, client interaction sentiment analysis and client entity resolution.

In order to achieve these aggressive goals we are looking to hire a Managing Director-level Global Machine Learning and Data Science lead for WM Operations and Client Service Technology. You will lead and expand a global team of approximately 30 data scientists, machine learning engineers and software developers to advance the state-of-the-art in wealth management operations and client service AI/ML-driven applications.

The successful candidate will have experience recruiting and managing a high-performing cross functional team of data scientists, machine learning engineers and software developers. You should be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally across the business. You should have experience solving real world problems with AI/ML solutions in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities :

- Develop the AI/ML strategy for WM Operations and Client Service.

- Recruit and lead a high-performing diverse team to implement that strategy.

- Productionize AI/ML solutions to drive real business impact.

- Drive innovation through developing in-house solutions as well as leveraging vendor technologies where appropriate.

- Serve as a senior subject matter expert on deploying machine learning technology at scale.

- Work closely with AWM and Firmwide AI/ML Engineering and Platform teams.

The ideal candidate will have :

- 10+ years of industry experience.

- 5+ years of experience in machine learning or data science with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering business impact.

- 3+ years of experience managing a team of data scientists or machine learning engineers.

- Experience in deploying machine learning solutions in an enterprise environment.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex analysis and machine learning use cases to a non-technical audience.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build trusted partnerships across multiple business and technology teams.
