CIB - Securities Services Operations - Fund Accounting Manager - Executive Director Job Description : The lead will be responsible for managing the reconcilation framework focussing on Derivatives as the vertical. This role also will have the responsbility of steering the reconcilation function strategically as well as building an analytical framework on recons. The role also demands lot of colloborative leadership while working with Technology/Product & other stakeholders in driving the strategic iniatives accross this vertical . - Ability to build, sustain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders(Product/OSD/ Middle offices, Global SSO managers & leads, Regional managers), peers in locations and across global hubs and cross-LOB. - Focus on delivering client requirements and engaging with clients through client service and Product - Deliver on remediation programs on reconcilation, key objective being elimination of root cause accross product lines. - Drive control mindset and awareness within the team, control oriented individual with ability to drive control self assessments, identify gaps, run global reviews and fix issues globally, implement periodic control reviews. - Driving a analytics led organization with focus on KPIs and metrics, ensure metrics remain healthy with full attention on aging and risk items as well as providing full visibility to senior stakeholders - Build programs in conjuction with Product /Technology to review and improve on productivity benchmarks on ongoing basis . - Driving a strong program focussing on inculcating continuous improvement culture in the team - A driven people leader with passion for developing and upskilling direct managers to develops strong leaders - Proven skills to deliver first class client service, ability to foster strong relations and proactively identify issues/pan areas and drive resolution/ improvements - Ability to work in a collaborative environment, cross-LOB partnerships and run global/x-business initiatives Core Competencies: 1. Good background knowledge of client valuation process and all security types (Bonds, Equities, Commodities, and Indices etc) their accounting treatment and Derivative experience desirable. 2. Excellent communication, interaction and influencing skills. Comfortable at interacting with and communicating to all levels of management. 3. Quick learner and capable of grasping nuances of products and implications of their processing requirements.. 4. Partners well with peers, subordinates, managers, and LOB and functional partners (e.g., Risk, Technology, Operations, and Finance).
