The GFBM function is a dynamic organization that plays a critical role, particularly as increasing regulatory and capital requirements change the way we do business. Planning & Analysis (P&A), in addition to CFO teams, Controllers, Business & Control Managers and Project management, make up the majority of the Global Finance & Business Management team.

The Employee Experience Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (CoE ) drives initiatives across GF&BM through Digital Accelerator program focused on upskilling the finance workforce with Intelligent Automation tools and fostering a culture for enabling citizen led development to simplify and automate manual processes resulting in improving the human capital productivity and improving controls. 


The CoE also serve as innovation leaders, continuously exploring opportunities to apply emerging intelligent automation techniques such as Data Transformation & Visualization, Robotics Process Automation, optical character recognition (OCR), machine learning (ML), matching algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP). Sitting in the center, this CoE interfaces with internal clients (LOB P&A, CFO and Controller Groups) to source ideas around automation and dashboard opportunities, run functional and technical feasibility analysis, translate the ideas into use cases and partner with developers within CoE/ Business/Product/Technology to deliver tangible solutions against those use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Empower business process SMEs to own production support & change management of their automation solutions and ensure seamless transition from CoE to process SMEs during the warranty period.

- Drive the adoption and implementation of new tools / technologies in partnership with Digital Accelerators.

- Educate and train stakeholders on the Intelligent Solution governance & controls standard framework.

- Partner with business/product team, peers on the CoE team and technology to provide training, planning, implementation & troubleshooting support for process automation throughout lifecycle of the product from ideation to go-live to retirement of solution / migrating to strategic solution.

- Develop business process understanding by conducting process walkthroughs / deep dives and provide assistance for improving the end to end processes through standardization, simplification and automation leveraging Intelligent automation toolkit.

- Identify scalable opportunities and develop standardized generic solutions which can leveraged across LoB, region, product and functions

- Maintain all the project related artifacts and updates in a centralized inventory.

- Communicate open items, issues and deadlines clearly and effectively to stakeholders and developers.

- Monitor, control and report key milestones & deliverables of the project and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful completion.

- Partner with Business Control manager to ensure operational risk reviews are done and recommended controls are incorporated in the automated solution.

- Managing a diverse team of highly skilled resources having expertise in various automation tools / technologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Post graduate degree in Finance/Technology

- 11-13 years of technology, finance or project management experience preferably in Banking / Finance operations

- Experience in training business users with citizen led development tools / technologies will be preferred

- Experience working on Process Improvements areas will be an added advantage

Skills :

Technical :

- Good understanding of ETL/Data Transformation and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau)

- Knowledge of process automation software (e.g., UI Path/WinAutomation/Automation Anywhere) is preferred

- Experience with python programming language and workflow tools (e.g., Pega, Signavio) is a plus

- Good accounting and finance skills along with the ability to analyze numbers

- Ability to understand / comprehend data flows and its impacts across the General ledger

- Proficient with MS Office Suite skills (especially Excel, Power point, MS projects)

- Proficient in drawing process maps, writing report & creating scorecards

- Excellent understanding of Finance processes and applications
