The Firmwide Business Resiliency ("FBR") team is within the Office of the CFO and is responsible for the design of the firm's Resiliency Program, including the requirements for Resiliency Planning, Testing, Reporting and Issue Management. When disruptions occur, these practices support the continued operation of the firm's businesses, the markets, and our ability to service of our customers' needs. The FBR group collaborates closely with the firm's senior leadership, the LOB / Functional Resiliency teams, Risk Management and Audit to ensure that the resiliency program is commensurate with the risk taking activities of the firm. The team is also responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. The team also ensures that the firm remains in compliance with global laws and regulations as they relate to resiliency risk. Job Description: - FBR is seeking a Business Resiliency Associate to support our expanding book of work related to Firmwide resiliency reporting and data analytics. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills (e.g. analytical, communication, and creative problem solving). The Business Resiliency Associate will work alongside other members of FBR, Technology development team as well as all LOB and CF partners to coordinate the running & day to day support of reporting and visualization solutions that can be leveraged at a Firmwide level. Key Responsibilities: - Support & build upon the day to day Business Resiliency reporting activities; running, maintaining and enhancing the monthly and weekly reporting processes - Monitor & control issue & enhancement tickets - Enhancing & automating all current and future reports & dashboards to reduce manual input while maintaining & enhancing the Control environment - Assist in the creation of best in class reporting (visual) representations of all FBR processes - Effectively collaborate with technology, LOB and CF partners to build reporting which meets the needs of stakeholders - Coordinate discovery and Refinement sessions with stakeholders to determine future requirements - Engage in UAT testing, production readiness reviews and post-production deployment validations - Grow subject matter expertise in Firmwide Resiliency processes and practices Non reporting responsibilities may include: - Assisting in the execution of the day to day workflow, tracking / monitoring of all FBR reporting - Working closely with FBR LOB's and CF's subject matter experts to assist and provide guidance in supporting resolution of any open items that impact project goals and timelines - Subject matter expert on FBR Reporting processes and tools Qualifications: - Technology related degree or equivalent experience - 3+ years working in BAU reporting & Operations (from a support perspective) - Experience with visualization tools (Tableau / Qlik Sense etc) - Experience working with agile practices and tools (Jira, Confluence) - Experience project managing small to large scale projects - Demonstrated experience in analyzing processes and translating high level business requirements into detailed stories - Effective communication skills - Detail oriented, strong analytical/problem solving skills - Enthusiastic, self-driven with ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as on a team - Knowledge of CORE (Control and Operational Risk Evaluation) system and CORE data relationships preferred.
