Strategic Insights (Marketing Analytics) is part of Marketing, Growth & Innovation (MG&I) organization within Chase Card Services and is responsible for driving and providing actionable insights, analyses, and recommendations to the leadership team and marketing teams across Chase Card Services including card acquisitions, existing portfolios, and product teams to grow the business.

- The Data Visualization Analytics, Sr. Associate is part of the Strategic Insights team. This dynamic position will be focused on cross-channel and cross-product analytics and data visualization; that is, focused on analyzing our customers across various card products and lines of business, designing and building dashboards with Tableau, visualizing data and insights for the executives, and driving our business growth and holistic marketing strategies by providing innovative ideas as well as actionable insights.


- This is a high exposure role that offers frequent opportunities to work directly with presidents, general managers, and heads of various card centers of excellence.

As such, the successful candidate will be one who is able to scan across a large ecosystem of data, research, and other customer insights, in order to develop and influence critical initiatives and marketing strategies across teams and channels.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Design, develop, and maintain customer dashboards for the Strategic Insights group and teams across Chase Card using data visualization tools such as Tableau.

- Interpret and analyze the insights from Tableau-based dashboards & interactive analytic suites to identify and present actionable opportunities and monitor the comparative effectiveness of various initiatives across Card teams.

- Package and present data and insights in an executive and visualized format.

- Prepare and automate the data needed for Tableau dashboards, including any statistically derived metrics or benchmarks; and uses multiple analytic tools and data sources to support that objectives, including Tableau, Alteryx, Trifacta, SAS, SQL, and Excel.

- Pro-actively identify key growth areas and opportunities, and communicate recommendations to the Card leadership team and various marketing teams across the firm to influence and fine-tune our marketing strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional strategy teams within Card to design and deliver customized analyses and strategic roadmaps, and synthesize the data into actionable insights to influence and drive business and marketing strategies for the Card businesses.

- Identify opportunities to improve our card marketing cost efficiency and drive sustainable business growth.

- Managing a 6-7 member team and lead the deliverables for the group

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, information system, or mathematics; Master's degree in a STEM field preferred.

Required work experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in data visualization, analytics, and data-driven strategic marketing role(s).

Skills:

- Strong Tableau and Tableau Server knowledge and skills; other visualization designing tools such as Illustrator or equivalent is a plus

- Excellent analytical ability as well as hands-on experience with analytical and statistical packages/databases (e.g. SAS, SQL or equivalent); experience with big data technologies and machine learning is a plus

- Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and interact effectively with leadership team to deliver insightful customer analyses and actionable recommendations

- Ability to analyze, interpret and translate metric performances into insights and recommendations, and package and present projections, performance trends, and performance outlooks in an executive format

- Experience with data automation or data wrangling ETL tools such as Alteryx, Trifecta or equivalent

- Demonstrated experience in analyzing voluminous data from raw sources

- Ability to conduct research into data mining issues, practices, and products as required

- Demonstrated problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment

- Understanding of the key drivers within the credit card P&L is preferred

- Experience working with Digital platform and tools like Adobe Analytics is a plus

- Experience of managing people directly for at least 3 years
