The Corporate KYC Operations works closely with the Lines of Business (LOBs) to implement and operate a sustainable and scalable operational process supporting clients along the Know Your Customer (KYC) lifecycle. This includes functions such as data collection, completion of the KYC profile, client screening, targeted local language and English language research, comparing and analyzing client profiles across all lines of business and quality check & assurance. This team will also produce metrics around the work they perform. The role is responsible for ascertaining that all KYC and AML policies are adhered to and will be responsible for conducting reviews of client's KYC documentation stored in internal repositories and publicly available information, performing the necessary screening against relevant search engines and sanction lists and communicate any additional deficiencies back to the business. Job Description: The team's mission is to identify unique KYC and AML risk factors for high risk client segments and PEP's, and assist in the assessment and mitigation of that risk. We are looking for individuals with deep KYC policy & cash management products knowledge and able to apply that knowledge to mitigate AML/Financial Crimes risk; and become trusted partners & advisors the KYC Production teams and WKO leadership team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Carry out tailored review of KYC records for identification & assessment of risk and evaluate - Suitability of documented mitigation - Interact with the KYC Production Team and GFCC as needed, to understand clients AML program and other risk factors - Document constructive feedback for the Specialized PEP Team and WKO production team - Specifying areas of the KYC file requiring attention, including drafting of suggested edits where appropriate - Partner with the Specialized PEP team, KYC Maker and Middle Office team for the successful - Completion of KYC file renewal as well as new client on-barding - Proactively identify and communicate thematic issues discovered from the risk review process to help prevent material issues - Act as a subject matter expert and trusted partner & advisor to KYC Makers and the RAF - Production team with the ability to successfully influence both parties as needed - Deliver transformational KYC quality improvements that will avoid audit and regulatory issues - Demonstrate the ability to combine superior KYC policy knowledge with strong operational execution Qualification & skills include: - Strong client focus and interpersonal leadership, partnership and influencing skills - Ability to effectively communicate complex risk assessment, policy and operational concepts to both senior management and junior operational staff - Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance policies and procedures when establishing guidelines, metrics, and processes - Strong understanding of markets and cash management products and how it affects AML and KYC considerations - Strong Foreign Correspondent bank industry knowledge and awareness of AML / KYC risks - AML, Compliance, audit or KYC experience preferably in Corporate and Investment Banking - BS/BA Degree; MBA or other graduate degree is a plus JPMorgan Chase is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer of Disability/Veteran.JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
