Responsibilities: - Review, analyze the transactions in view of data extraction from documents in accordance with predefined rules and relevant procedures. - Perform review of the transactions across regions on sampling basis against the sanction screening framework within the indicative target timelines without compromising the quality and completeness of the analysis. - Conduct operational assessments and formally document observations and recommendations. - Provide feedback and communicate effectively with peers on the results of QA reviews - Report and escalate all concerns or findings on the results of QA testing clearly and objectively to senior management. - Adhere to all designated time frames, manage workflow to the specified deadlines and complete responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. - Identify operational control improvements through transactional sample reviews. - Help operations teams devise effective solutions to identify and control any QA exceptions. - Support the Trade business with compliance to key policies Regulations. - Develop communication and training. - Maintain an \"Always Audit Ready\" environment with the Transaction Control Management team and help trade operations achieve the same. - Analyze performance metrics periodically to maintain a pristine control environment and at the same time identify opportunity to improve process and efficiency. Competencies: - Minimum 7 years of experience in various trade products. - Prior experience in a trade risk/compliance/sanction screening role is an added advantage. - Prior knowledge of OFAC sanctions is preferable. - Analytical and with an investigative eye for accurate details. - Ability to work in a team as well as independently. - Must demonstrate an attention to detail and have an investigative and questioning nature. - Must have good interpersonal skills, a flexible, collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem-solving and an ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, and preferably with some experience of dealing in multiple regions. - Should be a self-starter with abilities to arrive at decisions with minimum support. - Should have high work ethics and effectively escalate issues to the attention of the senior management on a timely basis. - Should have the ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously to deliver against organization objectives. - Ability to identify ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work performed and resources utilized.
