Job Description : Opportunity : We are looking for an experienced Quant to join our team in Mumbai. The Credit QR team is responsible for developing and maintaining models for valuation, risk, P&amp;L calculations, as well as quoting and market making algorithms and analysis tools for the Global Spread business. The responsibilities of the team span the full range from new model specification, going through model approval, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations, implementation of model in library, to integration into risk and P&amp;L systems. In addition, we are providing on job training, intensive internal classroom training, and online courses, all given by our experienced quants. Your Impact : You'll contribute to the firm's product innovation, effective risk management, financial risk controls. Specially, you'll have the chance to: - Developing mathematical models for the pricing, hedging and risk management of credit securities and derivatives, including investigating and improving existing models. - Writing model documentation compliant with internal and regulatory standards. - Working with model control teams to facilitate timely and efficient review and approval of models. - Liaising with business functions as well as other quantitative research and control teams. - Explaining model behavior, carrying out scenario analyses, developing and delivering quantitative tools, and supporting analytics. - Design efficient numerical algorithms and implementing high-performance computing solutions. - Design and develop software frameworks for analytics and their delivery to systems and applications. About You : - You demonstrate quantitative and problem-solving skills as well as research skills. - You understand advanced mathematics arising in financial modeling. Prior experience in stochastic calculus, optimization theory is desirable. - You demonstrate proficiency in code design and programming skills, with primary focus on Python; demonstrable proficiency in C++ is required. - You think strategically and creatively when faced with problems and opportunities. You always look for new ways of doing things. - You're attentive to detail and easily adaptable. - You have strong interpersonal skills - you listen and communicate in a direct, succinct manner; pro-active attitude. - Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can engage and influence partners and stakeholders; - You are good at communicating concepts and ideas, also via documentation, and you are keen to defend their validity and tailor messages to different audiences; Desirables : - Advanced degree (Ph.D., MSc or equivalent) in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields.
