As a Quantitative Research Associate within our Global Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities (GFICC) team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzing quantitative signals and large data sets that are used as input to models, and systematizing the validation and reporting of model results.
- Building out data and analytics capabilities within GFICC, which includes developing code to run statistical analyses, aggregate data, and create new derived data for Fixed Income portfolio management and research.
- Working in close collaboration with quantitative researchers to develop new quantitative models to benefit the GFICC business and to help drive a more systematic investment process.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Computer programming experience, SQL with strong Python skills is required.
- Understanding of Fixed Income markets and instruments is required.
- Prior experience analyzing and manipulating large data sets is required.
- Understanding of quantitative investment processes.
- Self-motivated, proactive individuals who can think creatively and deliver impactful business results will be most successful in this role.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Engineering degree in computer science or post-graduate degree in math, finance, or other scientific discipline.
- Ideal candidates for these positions would be Post-Graduates from top Institutes in India.
