Job Description :


The Position :


- The Quant Modeling team uses ML/AI and other quantitative modeling techniques in conjunction of business domain knowledge to build advanced models and algorithms that empower informed decision-making to solve business problems and deliver on high-value business objectives, while protecting the firm from model risk.


Responsibilities :


- Support business partners to formulate quantifiable goals; support strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals


- Support the design and development of deep insights through the analysis including segmentations, optimizations and other techniques to improve business performance


- Collaborate across functions and LOB's to drive Modeling solutions and Insight to support development of quantifiable goals; support strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals


- Participates in execution of a department or functional strategy; develops approaches and/or processes to accomplish goals


- In an individual contributor role, functions as a key contributor with demonstrated knowledge of area of specialization as well as broader functional knowledge


- Makes sound decisions in the best interest of the firm according to risk management practices and policies


Qualifications :


- M.S. degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Economics


- Operational business knowledge of processes, data and technology platforms


- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence


- Expertise in at least one of the following: Python, R


- Basic problem solving and analytical skills


- Comfortable communicating analytic results with supervisor


- Strong execution capabilities


- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills


- Cultivates partnerships and collaborates across teams


- Effectively solves problems and shares ideas for improvement


- Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients and customers


- Demonstrates full appreciation of and compliance with regulatory obligations


- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applied to large datasets
