Payroll Transitions Associate Description : - JPMC is looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to complete the process for the collection of the overpayment of wages and recovery of tuition and other repayments upon termination. - This position will focus on compliance of state regulations for repayments utilizing Oracle HCM and Microsoft Excel. - This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, the ability to pay attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. - This individual will provide quality payroll support and case management services to employees, former employees, and key stakeholders. Responsibilities : - Calculate repayment amounts for overpayments made and communicate information to employees / former employees - Track and process repayments made by employees / former employees - Make necessary adjustments to employee wages for repayment of wages - Understand and abide by state regulations regarding the repayment of wages and other payments made to employees / former employees - Complete overpayment audits - Identify opportunities for process improvement for the overpayment process - Document process flow and detailed step instructions - Complete ad hoc requests as needed Minimum Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in a Payroll Department - Oracle HCM or equivalent payroll software experience - Experience with wage overpayment and repayment process - Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Analytical thinker and ability to work independently - Advanced Excel knowledge - Strong troubleshooting skills and experience - Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven work environment Desired Qualifications : - Payroll certification FPC or CPP - Multi-state payroll experience - Process improvement experience JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
