About the Team Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Finance & Business Management India Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Finance & Business Management India is one of the first group to be set up in India in Global Finance and has since grown its presence across Mumbai & Bengaluru into a 800+ people organization. The group is accountable for diverse functional teams and has a significant footprint of the global Finance organization supporting Corporate Investment Banking business and regulators across all regions. Over the years, the teams have continued to provide value add to the global finance organization through business insights, technical accounting skills, data analytics, technological enhancements and standardization across lines of business. The key focus areas in the immediate future are driving teams to adapt the skills of the future, digital transformation and enhance product & regulatory reporting framework. EMEA Regulatory Reporting The position is within the Statistical & Finrep Regulatory reporting department of Finance. The group is a service-orientated business comprised of specialized individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to our regulators. The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls. The regulatory finance department is a high profile function, providing financial information to the Germany Regulators (Bundesbank) , European banking Authority (EBA) & European Central Bank (ECB) - Preparation of monthly, quarterly and biannual returns for the following solo regulated entities and their associated Germany HO & its branch consolidation groups - Interpretation of the Regulatory rules which forms the basis of reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business. - Partnership and supporting other Finance areas with other reporting requirements - Knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to regulators About the Role Primary Responsibilities: - Ensure preparation of the firm's reporting requirement to the German Central Bank, ECB & EBA - Ensure timely and structured regulatory reporting is being performed while displaying strong understanding of the control framework around analysis and break resolution/investigation - Review monthly and quarterly variances, investigate tends and work to obtain and document business commentary for management - Partner with the local Regulatory Project team on new releases and assist the Onshore team with review of trade flows for new business initiatives - Preparation and review of regulatory reports/submissions for JP Morgan entities as per IFRS requirements on monthly & Quarterly basis - IFRS adjustment analysis along with Gaap analysis - US gaap to IFRS - Support various lines of business & Legal entity controllers with performance reporting and other query resolution especially on regulatory reporting - Support various initiatives required w.r.t DQM, Automation & Standardization of process - Understand regulatory compliances & Updates and implement the same in reporting.
