CIB - Control Manager - Associate Description : Background : The Payments' Operations Control Management is responsible for oversight and governance of the control environment including: development and delivery of an enterprise-wide framework to manage control-related processes; develop and manage the end-to-end process for identification, remediation and completion of control issues, including Risk Control Self-Assessment process (CORE); maintain central repository of control-related data & MIS; manage protocols, governance and tracking related to supervisory and regulator engagement and develop and maintain operational risk policies and monitor effectiveness of control implementation. Overview : Project Management role around Operational Risk and Controls for JPMC Payments. The Risk and Control Associate will be responsible for supporting the CORE/RCSA program on all relevant BAU activities. The Associate will assist in performing on-going data quality analysis in support of the CORE/RCSA BAU Operate team, work closely with Control Managers globally in address CORE/RCSA BAU data hygiene gaps, providing reporting, prepare metrics, etc. Develop partnerships with the Control Managers (CMs) and the CIB CORE team. Responsibilities : - Support the coordination and data improvements to the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) process across the Payments operation globally - Support the Payments' Operations Control Managers daily with CORE activities which is the primary process used to identify, address and track remediation of all risk and control issues - Ensure full understanding of the Firmwide CORE Standards and Procedures and responsible to interpret and disseminate to the Control Managers - Act as a sounding board to the Control Managers on all aspects of CORE - Responsible for the review and closeout of all Program and self-identified CORE hygiene items. - Responsible for the input/upload into CORE for all CORE related changes - Partner and manage relationship with CMs within Banking to ensure progress and the CIB CORE team - Gain an understanding of the CORE application and its various components; seek to become SME to provide guidance to CMs - Support data quality analysis and reporting as needed - Assist with control issues ensuring appropriate prioritization and escalation policies are followed - Conduct qualitative assessments/deep dives on high risk control areas - Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders Qualifications Required : - Strong data analysis / analytical skills - Familiar with Risk and Control Assessment - Self-starter, independent worker, and ability to multitask - Excellent organizational and follow through skills, detail oriented - Possess teamwork and interpersonal skills, Strong people, and organizational skills - Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership, and accountability - Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills - Advance working knowledge of MS Office; proficiency in MS Excel JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
