This individual will need to manage staff and workflow effectively to deliver flawless work output, as well as technically understand and guide both work streams in tackling complex scenarios Primary responsibilities include : - Oversee, support and supervise both the Transfer and Catalyst Account Management work streams and coordinate the timely, and effective execution of all incoming transfers and account management requests by the team members. - Responsible for creating subject matter expertise, appropriate backups and effective management communication across the processes. - Ensure high quality results on critical functions, provide best in class customer service, find effective solutions to issues and maintain productivity standards. - Their role may include working directly with bankers/requestors, transfer coordinators and CDM managers to ensure assigned work is effectively and efficiently completed within an acceptable timeframe with minimal impact to the banker. Essential Skills &amp; Experience : - Subject matter expert who understands the transfer and account management process is desirable, including an understanding of how new prospects are reviewed and client transfers are initiated within the firm. - The candidate will be expected to actively handle complex scenarios as well as provide technical guidance to the team as the local and first point of contact - Experience in roles which involve speaking with bankers/front office set ups directly and handle associated escalations in a mature manner - Serve as a point person for supporting the transfer and prospect create process which includes working directly with transfer coordinators and their managers - The ability to provide proactive communication and problem solving, actively build and maintain strong, open and positive relationships and effectively manage expectations - Ability to challenge, develop, implement and maintain effective and standard operational processes - Ability to identify and help implement efficiency opportunities within the team as well as drive team mindset towards such efforts, including collaboration within work streams where needed - Ensure robust back up and/or succession planning as a focal part of BAU management. Embed a culture of cross skilling as a key enabler towards achievement of this - Ability to maintain and improve a strong controlled environment (e.g. necessary controls activities along process flow implemented, appropriate control tools in place, team members fully understand risks and related controls) - Anticipate needs, take feedback, run conference calls and act as a point of contact for escalations and high priority requests from internal clients - Participate in and evangelize locally, any LOB level initiatives as a critical enabler towards employee growth as well as employee engagement - Actively use Design thinking as an approach to come up with innovative solutions to business problems as well as structured presentation of these to the business - Excellent people and resource management skills including but not limited to: people development, attrition management, building skills, training and coaching Preferred Skills &amp; Experience : - MBAs or other Masters level candidates in business streams with experience in Business Operations and between 5-7 years of tenure in similar roles backing them - Graduates with a between 7-9 years of relevant work experience in a bank, financial services, compliance, risk management or other service sector environment. - Candidates with experience in working within reference data set ups, banker prospect support or client transfer processes would hold added advantage - Strong Interpersonal skills. Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels. - Ability to design, and put reporting requirements in place - Behavioral skills, leadership, problem solving and time management. - Is able to drive a culture of openness, inclusiveness, transparency and efficiency - Strong planning, negotiation and analytical skills - Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills - Proficient in creating basic presentations with structured thoughts - Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail is vital. - Assertive and self-confident. Able to manage stakeholder escalations independently - Previous experience of change management (e.g. new system implementation, business restructuring) within the organization - Experience in working with Salesforce as a CRM platform - Excellent coaching and delegation skills - Strong relationship building and maintenance skills - Well-developed negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills.
