The JP Morgan Financial Reporting Team manage the production and review of annual and interim financial statements for a wide range of mutual fund clients. This Financial Reporting Team take direct responsibility for the production, review and delivery of financial statements of and related accounting/portfolio information for key clients. This role involves supporting the team with Business Management, MIS & administrative aspect. Experience: We are looking for a candidate with business management experience who will be able to support the team & its leads on Business Management & MIS requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as contributing to strategic goals for the future. The candidate should be able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company's vision and culture. Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Accurate Headcount Tacking & Governance for the function, working with Finance partner & operation leads to ensure Head Count targets are achieved as per plan. - Conduct monthly review meeting with Operation leads on Headcount Forecast v/s plan Target - Ensure that the submissions are accurate, complete, reconciled (where relevant) and specific to the requirements - Execute and implement strategy and business initiatives; - Support the Business Lead on various MIS reporting requirement & analysis. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including Finance, Recruitment, Controls & other support teams to ensure accurate MIS for the Function. - Partner with local support functions and stakeholders to unblock any administrative issues for ops team; - Be the "connector" between Operation leads and recruitment team on any hiring linked issues & challenges. - Continuously seek out process simplification and re-engineering opportunities to improve operational efficiency; - Supporting leads & Ops team with their infrastructure requirement - Support in facilitating team events, conferences etc. - Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks; Key Skills and Knowledge: - Strong analytical and presentation skills with an ability to understand / dissect complex problems - Collaborative problem solver focusing on outcomes; - Comfortable working in a relatively unstructured, and multi-dimensional environment - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to clearly articulate ideas, issues and solutions - Excellent project management skills - Good attention to detail - Knowledge of Visualization tools like QlikView, Tableau will be added advantage - Excellent financial and performance management capability - Strong risk, conduct & control background - Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills - Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines - Ability to implement change, seek efficiencies and manage initiatives along with your daily workload - Ability to work within a team and to build key internal relationships across different stakeholders - Understanding of diverse business processes - Ability & willingness to learn new activities & tasks - Flexibility to work extended hours.
