- Conducting business and financial analysis including running financial models and peer comparisons - Assessing creditworthiness of different financial institutions (covering macro overview, industry/sector, competitor, business, financial and credit analysis) and recommending appropriate credit ratings - Perform capital structure and rating analysis in the context of M&A, debt capital markets activity, restructurings, regulatory changes etc - Develop knowledge of rating agency methodologies, track evolutions of criteria - Describing concisely the structure and terms of products and analyzing related risk metrics - Assist in preparing market updates, pitch books and marketing materials - Producing quantitative and qualitative analysis for financing and capital structure recommendations Qualifications - - Excellent academic track record - Strong finance and analytical skills; Corporate finance and accounting coursework - Experience in rating agency methodologies (preferred) - Professional work experience in financial services (preferred) - Strong sense of accountability and ownership of tasks - Ability to perform well under pressure in a demanding environment managing multiple tasks at the same time - Strong attention to detail - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work well in a team environment - Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
