Janssen recognizes the impact of serious conditions on people's lives, and aims to empower people through disease awareness, education and access to quality care in six therapeutic areas. - The India Supply Chain Lead is a critical leadership position responsible for the development and execution of the India Supply Chain Strategy in alignment with JSC Global/Regional Supply Chain strategy. - This individual is responsible for the end to end supply chain improvement prioritization including product management, channel management, demand &amp; distribution planning, supply planning, direct procurement of materials, operation management of external manufacturers, import and export. - The individual has overall accountability of the implementation of the global/regional processes in India - partners and collaborates with the global teams to ensure India supply chain requirements are integrated into the global strategies and plans. - The individual is the primary Supply Chain liaison with the Commercial Leadership Teams for the execution against business goals and objectives. The individual leads in a fully integrated way, the Extended India Supply Chain team reporting functionally directly or indirectly into the global functions including Planning, External Supply Integration, Regional Sourcing/Procurement, Technical Operations, Quality and Delivery. - The individual ensures alignment on goals &amp; objectives with the critical stakeholders in the end-to-end supply chain and clearly defines the strategy to realize the objectives of Janssen India. The ability to link and leverage supply chain best practices across JSC, understanding and implementing the appropriate global processes and systems as well as developing supply chain talent are key priorities. Role &amp; Responsibilities: 1. Demand &amp; Distribution Planning - Responsible for national &amp; depot level Forecasting, Demand Management, Leading S&amp;OP Meetings, Distribution Planning and Inventory Management, New Product Launch Planning etc. - End to end supply chain management of Reimbursed Business, Patient Support Program, Clinical trial requirements etc. Management of re-packaging operations - Strong collaboration with commercial team, regional team and other supply chain teams will be required with prime objective to deliver high level of customer service supported by efficient and agile supply chain processes. 2. Customer Management - Establish a competitive customer service target in alignment with APeJC SC strategy as well as Commercial requirements, and deliver performance and pursue opportunities for improvements - Lead customer centric initiatives to deliver Janssen Promise. - Channel management for Janssen India with Distributor Lifecycle and Relationship management and related analytics. 3. Supply Planning and External Manufacturing Operations - Supply Planning of Finished Products, Raw and Packaging Materials - Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirement Planning - Inventory management - Materials management, Reconciliation, Artwork transition Mgmt. etc. - Operation management at External Manufacturing Sites, Project Management etc. - Collaboration with end to end functions to drive sustainable and reliable supplies and ensure continuous process improvements. 4. Import, Export and Controlled Substance Management - End to end management of Import Planning and clearances of imported finished goods, imported raw/packing materials and cosmetic goods. - End to end management of Export to Srilanka, Bangladesh and Nepal - Global Trade compliance and management of controlled substances - License transition management to ensure flawless customer service - Supporting New Product strategy and launch management. - Develops/ adapts value propositions and cost-effectiveness models Qualifications Experience: 15 years with minimum 7 years of people management experience Educational Qual: Graduate + MBA Are you ready to impact the world?
