About the short term role : Duration : Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Business is recruiting for Contract / Consultant role, located in Mumbai for a fixed period 01st May 2022 to 30th November/31st December 2022. The objective is to ensure seamless support during long leave of the incumbent. Role Overview : - This role will be responsible for Business Partnering with Janssen Supply Chain (SC) and the R&D teams, including APDC & GCO. The person will be part of the APDC Leadership team (APDC LT) driving key decisions for the Higi site at Mulund, Mumbai. The person will also be part of Janssen India end-to-end Supply chain Leadership team (SCLT). - The person will need to engage closely and develop a strong connect with the partners across SC and R&D teams. The person needs to influence them positively to support right strategic decisions and choices. Drive close collaboration with stakeholders for execution of various projects. - Measurement of role delivery will happen individually for each role responsibility. - Timely, complete and accurate execution of Finance functional activities on reporting, reviews and sign offs would mark completion of scope - For those activities involving engagement and participation would be measured with respect to record of the activity and feedback from stakeholders including cross functional stakeholders and department colleagues. Key stakeholders : - Janssen India Supply chain leader - Leads for External manufacturing, Technical Operations and Quality teams - Site head for Higi, the site housing APDC - Department heads for various teams at APDC - Head for GCO (Global Clinical Operations) in India - Lead for IDAR (Integrated Data Analytics and Reporting) in India - Project lead for the new construction project at Higi site - Deliver team lead - BUF, GS, tax and legal team members - Regional finance team for finance transformation initiatives Roles & Responsibility : - Finance lead for Janssen India Supply chain Partner closely with the end-to-end supply chain teams and leaders for the following: - Ensure delivery of financial commitments as per business plan - Review of inventory related deliverables on monthly/ quarterly basis viz. monthly/quarterly dashboards, submissions & reviews of GP, SLOB, FAA, IVR, OCNIS, DOS, inventory, etc. - Review and monitoring of projects: review of projects and support supply chain team/technical team with data and insights on projects as required - Partnering with Supply chain and PES team towards management of external manufacturers (LL) and suppliers (P2P) including pricing, cost benefit evaluation of initiatives, agreements, etc - Lead the planning and update cycles (JU/LE & BP) for Supply chain finance and ensure timeliness and accuracy in all submissions and presentations. Ensure delivery of a robust plan with complete alignment with stakeholders and partners. - Drive compliance in Supply chain finance related processes with respect to adherence to SOPs, SOX compliance, statutory, legal and tax related compliances and audits (Statutory, taxation and CIA). - Finance lead for APDC & GCO - Partner closely with the APDC teams and leaders for the following: - Deliver 2022 Opex commitments as per BP, ensuring Finance and business controls - Support Opex management with quarterly review, analysis, and reporting - Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in the quarterly cross charging process - Partner closely with leadership teams of various J&J teams (e.g. JSC, DPDS) to ensure alignment on plan and actual Opex spends - Ensure timely actions on old taxation related matters for APDC & GCO (including SFIS, SEIS and open pricing related matters for APDC and service tax related matters for GCO - Lead the planning and update cycles (JU/LE & BP) for APDC & GCO and ensure timeliness and accuracy in all submissions and presentations. Collaborate closely with site heads and Beerse finance for the same. Provide support for key ongoing projects on site : - Project Phoenix for shifting of APDC operations from the AD building to the new PD building - Strengthen asset management with continuous asset-tagging, close monitoring and review of assets - Partner with global team, CLS & Legal to ensure correct guidance for pricing or imports Finance lead for IDAR : Support set up of IDAR team in India: - Ensure contract and appropriate guidance on Markup and GST - Ensure resourcing of finance team to deliver on all support to be provided by Finance - Deliver on all planning cycles - Ensure correct and timely cross-charge - Drive awareness of financial compliance in the new team Balance sheet and SigniFi : - Ensure timely and accurate quarterly review of Balance sheet - Ensure correct planning of BS during planning and update cycles - Support and enable all deliverables for Janssen India finance team under the SigniFi program Qualifications : - CA/ CPA/MBA - Post qualification experience : 11 to 13 years - Strong people leadership experience - Ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders - Proficiency in English. For consultant from Big 4 - Resource with relevant finance qualification, above said experience including experience in pharm consulting practice.
