Purpose of the position: Responsible to maintain continued compliance of the consumer products marketed in India and cluster markets, to the applicable regulatory/and J&J requirements. Would also driving compliance to the following Quality Systems elements - Lifecycle management of Distributors, Document & Record management, and Resource Qualification & Training. Key Responsibilities : - Ensures ongoing compliance of assigned product portfolio marketed in India domestic market as well as distributor based markets (viz., Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives) to all applicable country regulations and J&J requirements. - Responsible for end to end lifecycle management of the assigned product portfolio that meets applicable Health Authority and J&J requirements. - Represents BQ in Cross functional teams working on E2E activities for the assigned product portfolio including but not limited to - New Product Development/Introduction, quality and cost improvement projects and driving compliance to J&J requirements. - Drives detailed investigation, comprehensive risk assessment and flawless execution of actions in relation to non-conformances, deviations, CAPA, change management for the assigned product portfolio. - Partners with Marketing team in reviewing the promotional materials (non J&J products). - Collaborates with team members in ensuring - Audit ready- status of Local Company for internal as well as external Audits/assessments. - Conducts investigations, corrective and preventive actions for issues detected/potential that have/would impact products/processes or compliance to regulations and handles Change Control. - Partners with Sales team in conducting the qualification & approval of distributors and implement a continuous monitoring process to identify areas for improvement. - Monitors, trends and reports key performance indicators on periodic basis. - Ensures record retention schedule is maintained as per local regulatory/J&J requirements. - Ensures controlled documents are valid and effective at any given time. - Ensures applicable trainings are assigned to BQ and partner functions by developing the Functional Training plan (GxP training Coordinator and Training Process Owner (TPO) for the India LOC). Reporting Relationships: - Reports to (Role): Associate Director BQ Qualification: - Technical qualification: B.Sc./ M.Sc./ M. Pharm from reputed institute. Degree or Diploma in Management from reputed institute would be added advantage. Experience: - Around 2- 3 years of experience in Quality & Compliance function in any FMCG or a Pharmaceutical company - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, teammate, ability to learn and understand quickly; proficiency in computers (MS Office).
