Provide a brief summary of the role. - The FNW source manager will take Direct accountability of around $80MM Direct Material Spend, plus managing $20MM for the Region along with potentially some Global Category Responsibilities. - This spend is Medium Complexity with a High Cost Savings Delivery in nature and requires a collaboration with key stakeholders within the business to execute. This individual will lead the implementation of Procurement goals and strategy. The Source Manager's scope of responsibilities include : - Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the specific category area for India and ASEAN markets - Lead the Portfolio w.r.t Contracting, Overseeing on Reliability, Agility Quality and EHS compliances through partnership with QA, SC, EHS and DM source team. - Lead sourcing network opportunity identification, business case development and working with end to end team and external partners to drive the execution source change and reliability projects. - Identify and implement cost saving opportunities to improve GP. - Ensure compliance towards all J&J requirements (Reliability, Financial Stability, Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, QA etc) through deployment of internal resources - Lead efforts to identify and implement product or technology innovations fuel profitable growth and bring innovations to franchise ambitions for new product launch - Lead the contract management and other commercial negotiations Major Duties & Responsibilities : Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities : 30% - Develop and execute Procurement strategies that are aligned with the Franchise/Market needs : 30% - Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and lead supplier contract negotiations and other commercial discussions : 20% - Work with end to end team to on reliability, agility, quality and compliance improvement : 10% - NPD/NPI Costing, financial and other reporting : 100% Other Duties : Describe important tasks or duties, not mentioned above, that are performed infrequently and are not critical to accomplishing the essential functions of the job Qualifications : Required Minimum Education : Bachelors with MBA Required Years of Related Experience : 4-5 years if full time Premier B School or 8-9 years exp in supply chain with 4 years in procurement Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : - Must have and understanding of business operations and core Procurement areas of focus - Must have experienced in Supply Chain of FMCG/Pharma industry - Must have track record of Cost Savings Delivery in Procurement - Project Management skills - End to end mindsets with strong collaboration with key stakeholders. - Strong analytical skill - Basic Financial and P&L management skill Preferred Qualifications : Consider and identify qualifications that are not required to perform the job, but would be very helpful assets to performing the job.
