Job Description :

- Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for Manager - Office and Road Safety Asia Pacific, located in Mumbai.

- The Manager will be a single point of contact within the AP region in helping to prevent injuries associated with driving for company business, and other field and office-related activities including dealing with potential office environmental issues.

- Primary Location for this role though its mentioned as Mumbai can be,

- Any Asia Pacific country within a J&J office or from a home office to include India.

Key Responsibilities :

- He or she will partner and routinely interface with country/company commercial leaders in fleet and office safety, AP EHS&S campus leaders, Office COE leaders, EHS&S assurance team members, Engineering & Property Services (EPS), Facilities Management, Supply Chain, R&D, CLS leadership and external service providers to clarify and agree on roles and responsibilities and support the development of strategies and execute tactical plans that support the health and safety of employees based in offices and in the field in the Asia Pacific region.

- He or she will support the AP SAFE FLEET team appointed leaders and Office Safety Network contacts to realize a sustainable culture of safety.

- This individual must be highly customer-focused and able to effectively communicate and network at all levels within the organization and successfully operate in multiple cultures.

- Interface with regional Single Points of Contacts, Office COE regional leads, EHS&S Campus Leads and other partners to implement fleet/office safety related strategies/programs and initiatives delivering EHS&S excellence in culture and performance

- Interface with regional Single Points of Contacts, Office COE regional leads, EHS&S Campus Leads and other partners to implement fleet/office safety related strategies/programs and initiatives delivering EHS&S excellence in culture and performance

- Support the closure of AP CAPAS emanating from global office internal and external audits in collaboration with FM and local office personnel/campus leads and roll out/maintain Office Safety EHS&S Playbook for small & large offices

- Prepare a robust strategy for implementing, managing and executing plans, goals and actions in alignment with fleet/office safety standards and local requirements with an aim at reducing crashes and SIFs within set targets

- Provide regional subject matter expertise in office safety, to include environmental aspects

- Establish and manage the regional fleet/office safety AP budgets and monitor AP team performance through regular fleet/office safety audits.

Qualifications :

Education : University Bachelor's degree, Engineering or equivalent is required. MA/MS/MBA is preferred.

Experience and Skills :

- 8+ years of progressive EH&S management related experience is required.

- A minimum of 5+ years of supervisory/leadership Management experience required.

- General safety, strong fleet/office safety subject matter expertise/experience required.

- Environmental experience technical skills related to an office setting is desired.

- Strong typing skills are beneficial for fleet and office safety audits.

- Ability to see the big picture yet attend to details is required.

- Working in cross-regional, cross-sector, and cross-functional team, translating complex situations into simple working solutions, managing complexity, collaborating with all levels of management and influencing decision-makers across a matrix organization are required.

- Highly developed interpersonal and cross-cultural skills are required.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and creative problem-solving skills required.

- Must be able to approach difficult situations, treat others respectfully, be open to diverse opinions, and arrive at decisions that are Credo-based, strategic, prudent and compliant with standards and regulatory requirements.

- Strong compliance orientation with a focus on end-to-end strategic regional process management is required.

- Social media experience/knowledge is beneficial.

Other :

- This role reports to Global Director - Office and Road Safety, Workplace Health & Safety Excellence

- Approximately 11 indirect reports (SAFE FLEET AP Leaders) and multiple AP office site indirect reports

20% audit travel within the Asia Pacific region on a regular basis with less frequent travel to other WW regions, depending on business needs.
