Purpose of the position: Lead MAKE Excellence (Operations Excellence) at Baddi plant. Position will be responsible for driving Make Excellence initiatives at the site which includes delivering sustainable GP improvement, Strengthening Zero Defect Culture, OEE/productivity improvement, executing capacity expansion projects, performance management and building core competencies & capabilities to deliver Best-In-Class performance in Make Organization.   Key Responsibilities:  - Works with AP Consumer MAKE Excellence Leadership team to ensure alignment of Consumer Make Excellence strategic direction/goals & objectives, garnering support, and authorization of deploying Make Excellence Initiatives.   - Driving Make Excellence Agenda - Drive JJPS (J&J Production System) at the site. Lead Operational excellence initiatives of waste identification and elimination in all mfg & non-mfg processes. Lead agenda of bringing in cost flexibility of moving fixed costs structures to variable cost structures.  GP Improvement  - Deliver CIP (Cost Improvement) targets for the site  - Lead Process to identify cost improvement / GP improvement projects across all the function.   - Ensure flawless execution of projects.  - Develop future project pipelines for long term sustainability and continuous cost reductions.  - Collaborate with cross functional teams and regional teams for target settings, periodic reviews, reporting and bridging gaps.   Zero defect   - Support Team to lead Zero Defect Program for End to End Quality and process improvement initiative.  - Strengthen Zero Defect culture in the organization by deploying Regional and Global QE2 (Quality Excellence in Execution) initiatives.   - Engage with AP Regional Team to adopt best practices from the region and bench mark with other sites.  OEE Improvement   - Support Make to Win & JJPS Journey to improve OEE/Productivity.   - Support Manufacturing Core teams to identify OEE improvement opportunities and drive improvement initiatives.  - Projects Management  - Lead team to dive Capacity Expansion Projects and product re-siting projects.  - Support in Benchmarking best practices and cost benefit analysis for projects.   - Remove roadblocks in project execution for timely delivery.  - Ensure prudent Capex Spends.   - Drive other strategic projects from time to time.  Performance Management  - Ensure Performance Tracking and on-time reporting for Make Organization.  Reporting Relationships:   1. Reports to (Role): MAKE Excellence Lead - India  2. Direct Reports (Role & Number): 1 (ZD/OEE Leader)  3. Level of Supervision needed: Minimum  Qualification:  1. Education: Engineering / Science background with a Post graduation in Operations Management from premier B-Schools.  2. Experience: 8 to 10 years Cross-functional exposure in Supply Chain. OE exposure a must.  3. Industry Exposure - Automobile or MNC FMCG industry only
